
According to the ministry's report, the three new patients included two women and a man aged between 57-66 who returned from France at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on October 21.
They were sent to a quarantine area in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province upon arrival and are now being treated at the Long Dien District Healthcare Centre.
With these new infection cases, the number of imported Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to 515.
As of 6 pm on November 4, a total of 1,069 Covid-19 patients had recovered and been discharged from hospital. There have been 35 deaths, most of them being the elderly with serious underlying diseases.
The country has gone 63 days without reporting any new case in the community.
At present,15,260 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned from virus-hit areas are being monitored at hospitals, quarantine facilities, and at home.
