A couple, both age 36, along with their 10-year-old daughter, died when their house caught fire in southern An Giang Province's An Phu District early December 1 morning.

Officials said the fire began in the house, which reportedly contained waste paper which its owner collected to sell. The fire then spread to a next-door building, an electric-equipment store, causing damage estimated at VND3 billion (US$142,800 ).
The fire is being investigated.
