According to the ministry's report, the three men aged between 27-35 recently returned from Japan to Danang City. They were all sent to quarantine areas in Danang and Quang Nam Province upon arrival and are now being treated at local hospitals.
With these new infection cases, the number of Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to 2,846, including 1,276 imported patients.
As of 6 pm on April 25, a total of 2,516 Covid-19 patients had recovered and been discharged from hospital. There have been 35 deaths, most of them being the elderly with serious underlying diseases.
At present, over 41,000 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned from virus-hit areas are being monitored at hospitals, quarantine facilities, and at home.
On April 25, more than 10,660 people were given Covid-19 vaccine in Vietnam, raising the total number of vaccinated people in the country to 209,632.
