Three more imported Covid-19 patients reported on Friday

According to the ministry's report, the 35-year-old woman, her 10-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter arrived from France at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on November 11.

They were sent to a local quarantine area upon arrival and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on November 12.

The patients are now being treated at the Cu Chi Field Hospital for Covid-19 patients.

With these new infection cases, the number of imported Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to 565.

As of 6 pm on November 13, a total of 1,101 Covid-19 patients had recovered and been discharged from hospital. There have been 35 deaths, most of them being the elderly with serious underlying diseases.

The country has gone 71 days without reporting any new case in the community.

At present, over 15,000 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned from virus-hit areas are being monitored at hospitals, quarantine facilities, and at home.
