The people in a family died in a traffic accident that occurred in the northern province of Bac Giang late Thursday evening.
The car in the accident
According to Bac Giang Provincial Police Department, the accident occurred at 11.30 pm on June 2 when a car collided with a motorbike carrying three people at the junction of Hung Vuong and Hoang Van Thu streets in Bac Giang City.
The collision left the motorbike driver Nguyen Manh, 48, his wife and daughter dead on the spot. Both the car and the motorbike were heavily damaged.
Initial investigations showed that the car driver was speeding when the accident occurred. He also tested positive for alcohol.
Bac Giang Police are further investigating the cause of the accident.
