Tho Xuan Airport
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), the airports will be closed from 10 am to 9 pm.
The storm is likely to directly affect Tho Xuan, Vinh, Dong Hoi and Phu Bai airports, while Noi Bai, Cat Bi, Van Don, Danang, Chu Lai and Pleiku have been placed on alert for possible disruptions.
CAAV has ordered agencies and operators to strictly follow storm and tropical depression response procedures in civil aviation, and to inspect airport infrastructure and communication systems to ensure safety.
Airlines and airports have been put on round-the-clock duty, tasked with closely monitoring weather updates to promptly adjust flight operations and guarantee safety.
The National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warned that Typhoon Kajiki could make landfall in central localities from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh this afternoon.
