Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh and Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Hiroshige Seko will co-chair the third meeting of the Vietnam-Japan Joint Committee on Industrial, Trade and Energy Cooperation in Tokyo, Japan on October 10.
At the event, the two sides will review the implementation of the contents committed at the previous meeting, such as the establishment of working groups on the auto industry, support industry, and energy and cooperation in seeking solutions to increase the added value for the Vietnamese food industry.
Regarding the specific cooperation measures in the future, the two sides are expected to discuss the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between market management agencies of the two countries, the organization of the second Textile Dialogue in Japan, and collaboration on improving the value chain of Vietnamese agricultural products and foodstuff.
