Tet commodities arrive at central archipelago

Two naval ships 20 carrying commodities for the Tet (Lunar New Year) have already anchored and dispatched the goods to islands of Truong Sa Archipelagoes in central Khanh Hoa Province.

A pig is transported from mainland to Da Lon A2 Island for the Lunar New Year.

The ships, Truong Sa 20 and HQ936, were supposed to dock at those islands last Thursday but rough sea prevented it to do so.

The commodities, destined for the local residents and soldiers, include dried food, vegetables, fruit and sports equipment.

The central provincial Military Command will also give soldiers and local households money for the Tet festival.
