The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO), the Chinese People\'s External Friendship Association (CPEFA), the Vietnam-China Friendship Association (VCFA), and the China-Vietnam Friendship Association (CVFA) held a “Vietnam-China friendship night” in Hanoi on December 12.
The event was part of the Vietnam-China Friendship Festival and marked the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
At the opening ceremony, the VUFO’s chairman Vu Xuan Hong and the CPEFA’s president Chen Hao Su emphasised that the Vietnam-China friendship fostered by late President Ho Chi Minh and late President Mao Zedong 60 years ago, has been developed into comprehensive strategic partnership.
Vietnam-China ties are a valuable asset treasured by both peoples.
The 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties has been celebrated with a wide range of activities, that offer an excellent opportunity for both peoples to promote mutual understanding, friendship and solidarity.
