Stavian ED and Shinec sign deal to cut emissions in industrial parks

PR article-Stavian ED and Shinec have signed a strategic deal to deploy carbon reduction solutions in industrial parks, supporting Vietnam’s green growth and Net Zero 2050 goal.

The partnership agreement was signed on September 29, marking a step forward in green industrial development. Stavian ED, with expertise in renewable energy and power infrastructure, will work with Shinec, a pioneer in eco-industrial parks, to implement advanced solutions at Dam Ha Industrial Cluster in Quang Ninh Province.

The plan includes rooftop solar systems, BESS FARM energy storage, solar-powered lighting, renewable electricity via the Direct Power Purchase Agreement mechanism, and energy transition solutions through a liquefied natural gas supply system. The initiative aims to align investors with global sustainability standards and help manufacturing facilities obtain LEED GOLD certification.

To implement the agreement, the two companies will establish Stavian Industrial Power Distribution JSC, tasked with developing energy and industrial infrastructure projects following a Net Zero approach.

Shinec chairman and CEO Pham Hong Diep said the partnership would help new eco-industrial parks meet green criteria, cut emissions, and create opportunities in the carbon credit market.

Stavian ED is part of Stavian Group, a multinational with over 30 international branches. Shinec is currently developing 10 new industrial parks nationwide. Both firms said the cooperation lays a foundation for green investment and strengthens Vietnam’s role in the global value chain.
