The discounts will be launched during a tourism promotion programme at HCM City’s Independence Palace on August 8-9.
Saigon Railway to offer big ticket discounts
Passengers who buy tickets for trains scheduled to run on September 5-30 will receive a discount of 50 percent. Twenty percent discounts will be offered for trains on August 8-30 with a ten percent discount for trains running between August 31-September 4.
After discounts, the lowest ticket will be around VND30,000, including value added tax and insurance fees.
A maximum of five promotional tickets per person will be available at the event.
