Robocon Vietnam 2013 attracts 32 teams

As many as 32 teams will attend the final stage of the 2013 Robocon Vietnam competition in Danang city from May 6-12.

As many as 32 teams will attend the final stage of the 2013 Robocon Vietnam competition in the central city of Danang from May 6-12.

The contest will determine the best team to represent Vietnam at the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest, which will also take place in the city from August 16-20.

This year’s event, on the theme of ‘Green Planet’, conveys the message that each country is a small part of the puzzle that makes up the globe and it is our responsibility to think ‘green’ to save the earth.

Do Quoc Khanh, Head of the Vietnam Television Department of Science and Education (VTV2), said  that all the preparations for the competitions have been completed.

He also said he hopes that the Vietnamese team will do the country proud and earn top prizes at the event.
