The President also urged the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) and the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) to continue expanding their efforts at the local level so that more children can make their voices heard in the future.
According to the MoLISA, since 2008, 425 students from 63 cities and province across the country have had the chance to meet with the State leader.
They represent a small part of Vietnam’s millions of children under the age of 16 who live in difficult circumstances in remote areas and islands and who have excellent academic performance or are gifted in arts.
Over the past 23 years, the NFVC has raised trillions of VND to provide support for more than 30 million underprivileged children in Vietnam.
