Be Thi Hoa, 35, in Cu M’gar District has been bed-ridden for months, while her youngest child is just 13 months old.

Hoa’s husband Trieu Van Chinh, 36, said that after the 2021 Lunar New Year, Hoa suddenly suffered from sores which then gradually spread on her body. Despite taking different kinds of medicine, her condition did not improve.
The couple then borrowed some money from their neighbours to go to a local hospital where Hoa was diagnosed with Lupus. As the family could not afford the hospital treatment, Hoa had to return home after staying in the hospital for a few days.

The neighbours jointly contributed some money to support the family, but this was very modest. Now, Hoa’s disease has much worsened with amyotrophia, while the scores have become more serious.
At present, her eldest child who is nine years old has to take care of her 13-month-old child.
They are living in a ramshackle house that could collapse at any time.
Nothing is valuable in their house
Chinh said that he wanted to take his wife to HCM City for treatment, but he is totally powerless due to the lack of money. Their relatives are all poor; therefore, no one can help.
According to Tran Thanh Man, head of Ea Mnang Commune’s Red Cross, the local authorities gave a small amount of financial assistance to the family. He hoped that donors could help them.
