PM Nguyen Tan Dung yesterday afternoon hosted a reception given to chiefs of international delegations to the grand anniversary of Thăng Long–Hanoi.

For 1000 years, Hanoi is always the place of convergence of best cultural values of the Vietnamese nation and plays an important role in Vietnam’s socio-economic development, said the Vietnamese PM.
PM Dung took the occasion to thank international friends for their support and assistance to Hanoi’s socio-economic development over the past time.
Hanoi wants to be a good friend who has close multifaceted cooperation with capital and big cities worldwide, underlined Mr. Dung.
Speaking on behalf of international delegates, Laos’ Vientiane Mayor Sombath Yialiher extended his congratulations to Hanoi and showed his confidence that Hanoi is always a trustworthy partner of other cities.
