Party Central Committee convenes 12th plenum

During four-day plenum, the Committee will discuss and make decisions on such issues as 13th Party Central Committee personnel, orientations for the lection of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and provincial People’s Councils at all levels for 2021-2026, and assignment of delegates to the 13th National Party Congress, among others.

In his opening remarks, Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong said the plenum takes place in the context of the 45th anniversary of liberation of the South and national reunification, the 130th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, and the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The top leader urged each of the Committee’s members to promote the sense of responsibility to contribute the success of the meeting.
