The women were among 343 Vietnamese nationals from Taiwan who landed in the central city of Danang on a repatriation flight organised by authorities of the two countries on May 29.
All the passengers received health checkups and had samples taken for viral testing before being moved to a quarantine area for Covid-19 prevention at a school in Thang Binh District.
A team which specialises in obstetrics emergency has also been set up to take care of the pregnant women, some are nearing the forecasted day to give birth.
According to Nguyen Van Hai, director of the provincial Department of Health, more mid-wives have been sent to be on duty at the quarantine centre.
The women all feel happy after being brought home safely and now enjoying good care.
Tran Thi Huong who resides in Nghe An Province said that she and her husband came to work in Taiwan nine years ago and their lives were very difficult. The Covid-19 outbreak has made them unemployed and they wanted to go home but did not know how until the authorities organised the flight.
"In Taiwan I was very worried for my family, especially my baby," the pregnant woman said. "Luckily we are all safe now."
