According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the cold weather would start hitting northern localities from Thursday evening and then expand to the northern central region.

The northern region of Vietnam forecasted to be hit by a strong cold spell
The lowest temperature in the north would be between 16-19 degrees centigrade and it could drop to below 11 degrees centigrade in some mountainous areas.
The cold spell would bring rain to the northeastern and northern central regions from November 30. Many central localities have been predicted to witness heavy rains until December 4.
Rain would also ravage the southern region on December 3-6, also bringing hail and whirlwinds.
