This will be a dry cold spell, so the low temperature often concentrates in the evening and early morning. Meanwhile, it should be sunny during the daytime.

The peak time of the cold weather will fall on December 18–19.

Earlier, Hoang Phuc Lam, deputy director of the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that the northern region shall face strong cold weather from late December. The bone-chilling cold weather should also occur in January and early February next year.
