The northern region of Vietnam has been forecasted to face two cold snaps next week, according to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.

The northern region of Vietnam has been forecasted to face two cold snaps next week, according to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.

The centre reported that from Saturday evening, heavy rains would affect the northern region and then expand to Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces in the northern central region from Sunday.

Another cold weather would hit northern and northern central localities on April 28-29. Strong winds and hail would occur during these days.

On April 24-25, northwestern, northern and northern central localities would see temperatures of 35-38 degrees centigrade. Northeastern areas would see temperatures of 35 degrees centigrade.
