The incident happened around 6:45 am in the area running through Y Can Commune in Tran Yen District. At that time, a truck travelling from Lao Cai Province to Hanoi collided with another truck.

The two trucks then hit a nearby pick-up.
As a result, one truck driver, aged 31, was killed, and the pick-up truck driver, aged 43, was injured.
Traffic police quickly arrived at the scene to manage traffic and took the injured to hospital.
The three vehicles were severely damaged.
