Sun Air will be Vietnam's first airline that provides private jet charters and sightseeing services.
Speaking at the airline launch ceremony, Chairman of Sun Group, Dang Minh Truong said that more people are turning to private jet charters following the Covid-19 pandemic.
"We want to get a start with a very potential market in Vietnam's air transportation market," he said.
According to its plan, Sun Air will use two models of Gulfstream G650ER, and Gulfstream G700 to transport passengers to various destinations from the third quarter of this year. From 2023-2025, Sun Air will increase its fleet to four Gulfstream G650ER jets, one Gulfstream G700, one helicopter, and two seaplanes.
