The pagoda is located in Uoc Le Hamlet, Tan Uoc Commune and was built during the Mac Dynasty in the 17th century. It processes unique beauty and was recognised as a national relic in 1990.
Construction site in shambles
The site showed signs of serious aging by the time renovations began. Thanh Oai District’s Project Management Board contracted Construction JSC 10 was the investor, and the Urban Development Company under the University of Architecture served as consultants and supervisors of the upgrading project.
Old altar in neglect
There have been several accusations of violations of regulations on construction work on protected areas during the renovation process, which destroyed several parts of the site. Now much of the pagoda is in ruins and the surrounding communities are not happy.
Construction materials
Truong Minh Tien, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said, they have requested the district government halt the work for pending.
In the meantime, the pagoda has no roof and the inside is subject to the elements.
