National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will pay official visits to the Republic of Korea (RoK) and India from December 12-19, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang announced Thursday.

The visits are made at the invitations of Speaker of the RoK National Assembly Park Byeong-seug and Indian Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Venkaial Naidu.The top Vietnamese legislator is expected to hold talks with the Korean Speaker of the National Assembly, Indian Speaker of the Lok Sabha and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha and meet senior leaders of the RoK and India to discuss measures to promote cooperation between the Vietnamese NA and Korean and Indian parliaments.
The visits aim to promote Viet Nam-RoK strategic partnership and Viet Nam-India comprehensive strategic partnership in such areas as economic recovery in the post-COVID-19, people-to-people exchanges and local-to-local exchanges.
In addition, Vuong will meet with overseas Vietnamese and business communities in the RoK and India./.
