On Tuesday, authorities of Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and Ben Tre announced the prohibition of all local people from leaving their home between 6 pm and 6 am from today, July 28, except for necessary cases. All shops are also asked to halt their operations during this time.

People in HCM City are also banned from going out between 6 pm and 6 am of the following day, except for medical emergencies or COVID-19 coordination efforts.

The other localities which have also followed the suit are Bac Lieu, Long An, Dong Thap, Tien Giang, Hau Giang, Kien Giang and Vinh Long.

During this time, people who are permitted to go out to buy necessities have to strictly conform to Covid-19 prevention regulations. They have to bring with them cards granted by local authorities.

Barriers have been asked to be set up on many roads to ensure social distancing measures.

Localities have to ensure the sufficient supply of necessities during this time. It is essential to tighten control over the quarantined areas as well as households put under home quarantine.

Any violator of Covid-19 prevention regulations will be strictly punished.
