MoC to inspect many real estate projects in 2018

A series of projects belonging to real estate giants such as Vingroup, Bitexco, Geleximco, and the BIM Group will be included in the inspection plans of the Ministry of Construction (MoC) in 2018.

MoC will inspect The Manor Central Park in Hanoi next year

MoC’s Inspectorate will conduct inspections on construction, investment, business activities and the implementation of the Law on Housing.

At the Bitexco Group, MoC will inspect The Manor Central Park in Hanoi and a number of projects of the Hanoi General Export Import Joint Stock Company (Geleximco) in Hanoi and northern Hoa Binh and Quang Ninh provinces.

The Inspectorate will also inspect VinGroup’s Vinpearl Beach Front Condotel Tran Phu, Vinpearl Empires Front Condotel Le Thanh Ton, Vinpearl Long Beach Villas Bai Tru, Vinpearl Luxury Nha Trang Hon Tre, and Vinpearl Long Beach Villas.

Meanwhile, projects of the BIM Group, including the Hung Thang urban area, Green Bay apartments, and Halong Marine Plaza will be inspected, as will the Starlake urban area in West Lake developed by the THT Development Co.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the Khang Dien - Phuoc Long B, Mega Residence, and Melosa Garden projects, together with the Topica Garden high-rise building and the Hao Khang residential area (Mega Ruby), developed by Khang Dien Housing Investment and Trading JSC, will also undergo inspections.

The Inspectorate will also inspect the production and trading of construction materials and the management of construction investment projects.

Some investors of transport projects in the form of build-operate-transfer (BOT) and build-transfer (BT) contracts are also included in the inspection plan, such as the Cam Ranh International Airport JSC, the Da Nang Port JSC, the Trung Nam Group, and a joint venture between the Bamboo Capital JSC and the Bong Duong Investment Construction Company Limited.

The ministry will also inspect the management of construction investment projects belonging to State Treasury of Vietnam and State Treasury in some provinces, the Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation, and the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.
