The fire destroyed up to eight stores around the bread shop. The cause is being investigated, with faulty electrical wiring a possibility.
The family came from the northern province of Nam Dinh Province. The 39-year-old died on the spot, while his 35-year-old wife and his two daughters, aged eight months and 15 years, suffered severe burns.
Authorities of Nam Tu Liem District are providing financial support for the injured family members.
