Three days after the incident happened, the dog died. Meanwhile, the man’s health condition remained stable. However, until August 1, he felt tired and scared of light, so he was taken to Vietnam-Cuba Dong Hoi Hospital. Doctors there decided to send him to Hue General Hospital in critical condition. At the hospital, he was diagnosed with rabies and died on August 2.
Earlier, two people in Tuyen Hoa also died from rabies, including a 15-year-old student who died two months after being bitten by a dog.
