Police in the southern provinces of Binh Dinh and Phu Yen have arrested a man for participating in an anti-state organisation, the Ministry of Public Security announced on August 30.

Le Quoc Binh, 44, who is a member of the US-based Viet Tan - an organisation Hanoi has declared a terrorist group, were arrested early Wednesday morning after returning to Vietnam from Cambodia bringing many kinds of weapons.
At Binh's place in Binh Dinh Province, police seized nine guns and 500 bullets of different types; a 300cc Honda motorcycle, and many documents with anti-state content.

At the police station, Binh admitted that he planned to carry out terrorist attacks in Vietnam.
Police is further investigating the case.
