Under the decision issued by chairman of the provincial people’s committee Pham Van Thieu, social distancing measures in line with Government Directive 16 have also been implemented to other localities which are Gia Rai Town and the districts of Dong Hai, Hoa Binh, Vinh Loi, Hong Dan and Phuoc Long.
A Covid-19 checkpoint in Bac Lieu City
During the lockdown period, all people and means of transport are not allowed to move into or out of Bac Lieu City, except for those serving Covid-19 prevention and control activities.
The move followed four Covid-19 cases detected on Saturday evening. Hundreds of people have been defined to have had close contact with the patients, posing a high risk for Covid-19 outbreak in the city.
