The Vietnamese leaders wish that President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and the new US Administration could gain numerous successes for happiness and prosperity of the American people, making positive contributions to peace, stability, cooperation and development across the world.
They expressed their belief that Viet Nam and the US are enjoying a great opportunity to further strengthen and deepen cooperation areas within the framework of their comprehensive partnership based on the principle of respecting international law, independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and political regime.
The Vietnamese leaders also hope to cooperate closely with the US to beef up cooperation between ASEAN and the US, within APEC and other regional mechanisms for peace, stability, cooperation and development.
