The move followed a recent inspection of companies hiring foreign workers, according to the Khanh Hoa Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Chinese visitors in Nha Trang
Nine companies were fined VND210 million (USD9,545), including Golden Phoenix Trading Ltd. Co., Ngoc Viet Nha Trang Lt. Co. An Lam Latex; Sweet Dream Latex Ltd. Co. Hoan My Trading and Service Ltd. Co. and Nature Care Trading Company.
Golden Phoenix Trading Ltd. Co. used eight unlicensed Chinese workers, meanwhile, Ngoc Viet Nha Trang Ltd. Co. hired two unlicensed staff. Seven people worked for An Lam Latex for more than 30 days without a work permit.
The same problem has been also found at Hoan My Trading and Service Ltd. Co.
The provincial Department of Tourism said that in the first four months of this year, one million foreign visitors visited Nha Trang City in Khanh Hoa Province, including up to 599,000 Chinese people, up 162% on-year; followed by Russian tourists with 179,000, up 106% on-year.
