According to Tran Van Thang, chairman of Trung Ly Commune, the locality has evacuated 180 households from high-risk landslide areas to the local community cultural house.
Fifteen households in Tam Chung Commune have been relocated to safe places.

In Hoa Quy Commune, the severe inundation has isolated up to 200 households, following heavy rains on July 21-22.
Dau Duc Truyen, chairman of Yen Hoa Commune in Nghe An Province, stated that households in Xop Coc and Tat villages have been fully isolated due to the severe flooding.

Local authorities have assigned specific tasks to response teams and set up watch posts at spillways, areas with deep flooding, and locations with strong currents.
Nguyen Van Minh, Director of the Thanh Hoa Meteorological and Hydrological Station, reported that Storm Wipha is expected to bring heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms to Thanh Hoa from July 22 to 24. Rainfall would reach 100-200 mm or even 250 mm in many areas.
