M’drak Town has been facing torrential rains over recent days, causing flooding for some local low-lying areas, particularly those located by streams and rivers.

Some communes such as Ea Rieng, Cu San and Ea Lai have also been affected. Some roads in Cu San have been submerged, isolating some areas.
By Thursday afternoon, around 2,100 hectares of local crops had been flooded.
The heavy rains have eroded Krong Pach Thuong in Ea Rieng Commune. Around 100 people have been instructed to protect the reservoir and assist local residents.
