The city has arranged body temperature scanners at local border gates to detect monkeypox-suspected cases.

Under the city’s proposal, entrants who have symptoms of the disease or have had contact with monkeypox patients need to be separated for further checks. Epidemic investigations will also be conducted on these cases.

Those who are infected with the disease will be sent to HCM City Hospital for Tropical Disease or general hospitals in HCM City that have quarantine areas.
