Under the Ministry of Health’s approval, the stay at quarantine facilities for fully-vaccinated Covid-19 patients who are asymptomatic or see only mild symptoms in HCM City will be reduced to seven days from 10 days. However, they have to test negative for Covid-19 on the seventh day at the quarantine site.

After that, the patients have to continue self-quarantine at home as regulated.
The HCM City Department of Health has been asked to report the result of this trial implementation to the Ministry of Health monthly.
At present, Covid-19 patients who display none or mild symptoms have to stay in quarantine sites for at least 10 days. They are only permitted to finish their quarantine after they test negative for Covid-19 on the ninth day of the quarantine.
