HCM City to monitor people with body temperature of over 37.5 degrees

Taking body temperature

On May 4, the Department of Tourism in HCM City sent an official document about receiving procedures to locality authorities that have tourist spots in the area. According to the document, there must be a response team at each tourist spot to deal with emergencies.

People with health issues will also be sent to quarantine rooms and advised to go home.

Visitors with a body temperature of over 37.5 degrees will be sent to quarantine rooms for monitoring. The visitors will rest and be given medication there. If the fever doesn't go down, the managers must contact the medical station and related agencies immediately. They must also disinfect the area quickly and report the case to the authority and the CDC.

The procedures aim to ensure that preventive measures are fully implemented and prepare for emergencies.

The Department of Tourism will continue raising awareness for all tourism companies and the public.
