According to the HCM City People’s Committee, to date, nearly 3,000 people are quarantined in HCM City with the majority being at concentrated quarantine areas. All people who come back from Covid-19-ravaged areas have to be monitored for 14 days.
A resort in HCM City has opened for quarantined people
The city will use makeshift hospitals in Cu Chi and Can Gio districts as well as Turmour Hospital 2 for the virus treatment to raise the city’s total number of sick-bed to more than 2,000.
Roughly 30 local hotels and resorts have agreed to serve quarantined people but people will have pay fees for stays and some other services.
Many facilities in Can Gio District have received people from Thursday.
Medical staff are willing to support people in necessary cases.
People, however, are not allowed to use air conditioners to reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection.
