HCM City leaders pay tribute to fallen soldiers

Ho Chi Minh City leaders paid tributes to fallen soldiers at the HCM City Martyrs' Cemetery on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of Vietnam's War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.

Ho Chi Minh City leaders paid tributes to fallen soldiers at the HCM City Martyrs' Cemetery on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of Vietnam's War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.

The delegation includes officials from the HCM City People's Committee, People's Council, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in HCM City led by the Chairman of HCM City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong. There was also the delegation from the 7th Region Military Command led by Major General Do Van Banh, and the delegation from the 4th Legion.

After a minute of silence, they offered flowers and incense to every grave at the cemetery where 14,500 soldiers have been buried. The delegations also visited HCM City Cemetery in Thu Duc District to offer incense to all fallen soldiers who made a contribution to the country's independence and freedom.

This is the annual event of HCM City leaders to pay tributes to the soldiers.
