Hanoians warned to stay inside during rains

People in Hanoi have been warned not to go out during heavy rains to avoid falling trees.

People in Hanoi have been warned not to go out during heavy rains to avoid falling trees as two people were injured on June 6.

Hanoi Green Trees-Park Company asked the authorities to issue the warning. According to the leaders of the company, there are often torrential rains after a heat wave which will cause tree branches to fall and even uproot trees in the city.

After receiving the advice, the city Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control also issued an official document about heavy rains and accidents.
