A noodle restaurant on Nguyen Son Street attracted many customers who brought bowls with them to bring noodles home.
All restaurants in Hanoi have been suspended over the past two months due to the city’s social distancing measures for Covid-19 prevention.
According to the owner of Thuy Noodle Restaurant on Nguyen Son Street, she was very happy to be permitted to reopen her business. Her restaurant has seen a surge in customer numbers. She sold up to 200 kilos of noodles a day. Despite higher input materials, she has maintained noodle prices.
Some restaurants also offer delivery services to meet demand.
