At around 7 am, 180 soldiers and 16 specialist vehicles gathered in front of Hanoi Opera House for the sterilisation work in Hoan Kiem District. The sterilisation started one hour later.
The vehicles disinfected Trang Tien and Dinh Tien Hoang streets.
The armed forces sterilised 12 wards in Hoan Kiem District, including ten in Hanoi’s Old Quarter area.
In O Quan Chuong Area in Dong Xuan Ward
Dong Xuan Market, which is home to 2,000 stalls, was also sterilised.
At Hang Da Market
Today, the soldiers also disinfected Dong Da, Hoang Mai and Chuong My districts.
The disinfectant chemical Chloramine B is used for spraying.
