According to the municipal Department of Health, around one million local children aged between 5-11 will be given the Covid-19 vaccine before September this year.

Children who go to school will be vaccinated at school, while those who do not will be provided with the vaccination at medical stations. Children who are being treated at hospital can be vaccinated there.
Local hospitals and clinics, including those in the private sector, have also been asked to arrange staff to support the vaccination drive.
Up to 99 percent of children aged 12-17 in Hanoi have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
Vietnam has fully inoculated nearly 80 percent of the population, including children from 12 years old, with over 51 percent getting a third shot.
The Ministry of Health reported that the first batch of Covid-19 vaccine donated by Australia for children aged 5-12 would arrive in Vietnam in May.
