The directive was issued at a meeting chaired by Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Bui Duy Cuong on June 3 to review progress on investment preparation and site clearance for the projects.

According to Dang Xuan Huan, deputy director of the Hanoi Transport Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, several projects have made significant progress.
The Tu Lien Bridge project has completed more than 96 per cent of site clearance work, while construction of the main bridge, interchanges and the Duong River crossing is being accelerated with a target of completion before the 2027 APEC summit.
The Ngoc Hoi Bridge project has completed land clearance within Hanoi, with work on the main bridge and approach roads underway.
At Tran Hung Dao Bridge, more than 82 per cent of the required land has been handed over, while foundation piles, piers and other key structures are being built.
Progress has also been reported on the Thuong Cat, Van Phuc, Hong Ha and Me So bridge projects. The Hong Ha and Me So bridges, which form part of Hanoi's Ring Road 4 project, are expected to achieve technical completion by July 2027.
City authorities said the projects are critical to Hanoi's transport network, economic development and urban expansion.
Relevant agencies have been instructed to remove obstacles related to construction permits, traffic management, utility relocation, design adjustments and funding to ensure the projects remain on schedule.
