Hanoi is still applying social distancing rules as the city has continued reporting new Covid-19 cases.

It is easy to see Covid-19 check-points and fences in many areas in the Hanoi Old Quarter.

On Ngo Gach Street, besides an iron fence, people even use a bamboo ladder and ropes at a check-point.

Only environmental workers are allowed to go through the checks-points frequently

Despite facing difficulties in travel due to checks-point and fences, people support the Covid-19 prevention efforts.

However, some still tried to climb over the barricade to go out without being permitted.

Many violators are fined.

In many cases, people find it quite difficult to find a way out because of barricades. They even have to seek help from other people, including the police.

Lots of streets in Hanoi Old Quarter such as Hang Dieu, Hang Ga, Hang Non, Hang Dao, Nguyen Huu Huan, Hang Than and Hang Cot have been affected.
