The Hanoi Museum on January 29 displayed nearly 3000 items which have been presented to it by organisations and individuals.

On January 28, 2010, the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a campaign for donations gifts of documents and objects to the Hanoi Museum.

The campaign attracted a great number of both Vietnamese and foreign people and the museum received about 3000 items. Notably, one individual presented 600 objects, including Dong Son bronze drums.

The exhibition also honours those who are preserving the cultural values of Thang Long-Hanoi.
