This is part of the local authorities’ move to ease restrictions on several activities.
Outdoor sports activities to be allowed in Hanoi from September 28
Under the decision of the city people’s committee, residents can exercise outdoors from Tuesday with no more than 10 people in one place at the same time. But, participants still have to wear facemasks, use disinfectant, keep safe distance, not gather in large numbers, and be willing to make health declarations.
Shopping centres, fashion and cosmetics shops will also be reopened from September 28.
However, restaurants in Hanoi will only serve take-away orders.
People in high-risk areas or cordoned off areas have to take Covid-19 tests every 2-3 days.
