Hanoi People’s Committee will closely co-operate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as other concerned agencies and localities in planning the organisation of the SEA Games 31 and Para Games 11.
Hanoi ever held SEA Games 22 in 2003
Cambodia was scheduled to hold SEA Games 31, however, the country wanted to swap its hosting until SEA Games 32 in 2023 with Vietnam, saying that the country needed more preparatory time.
The SEA Games Federation agreed to Cambodia’s proposal.
