The 2,000-hectare project, which will include the construction of a port and logistics infrastructure for the auto plant as well as a hotel and some tourism services, will be located at Vung Ang Economic Zone.

Vice-Chairman of the Ha Tinh People’s Committee Nguyen Hong Long has assigned the provincial local economic zone management board to co-operate with concerned agencies on the investment procedures for investors.
Meanwhile, Ky Anh District People’s Committee has been urged to work with the provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the economic zone management board to build a site clearance plan and allocate land for the investor early after the project is licensed.
Under Vingroup’s proposal, the first phase of the project would be conducted in two parts after the construction license is issued. The second phase will be started after the first phase is put into operation for 3-5 years.
Vingroup has pledged to quickly implement the project pace once approved.
