Ha Long continues to host quarantine facilities

Nearly 6,300 people have ended quarantine. Only 400 people are still staying at quarantine centres. As of the evening of September 9, four more planes carrying 650 foreign experts will arrive in Ha Long. They will be quarantined at four hotels in Hung Thang and Tuan Chau.

Up to 3,937 people chose to pay for quarantine at FLC Ha Long Resort. 16 hotels and other accommodation facilities registered to join the paid quarantine programme in Ha Long.

Vu Hong Son, acting chairman of Ha Long People's Committee, said they had asked all owners to register their prices. They must also submit menu and food prices to the city authorities daily.

At each hotel, the authorities will assign a team including the state employees, medical staff, and police to monitor the quarantine areas. The employees at those areas must also stay at the hotels for 14 days and can only go home when all the guests are tested negative twice.
